Non Geographic numbers are not geographically linked to an area of the UK, they simply point or to an existing UK landline telephone number.  This can have a number of benefits.  If you move your business out of your current area and you use geographic telephone numbers you will usually need to change your telephone number.  This is not the case with a non geographic number.  This number can simply be pointed to your new UK landline number.

With certain non geographic numbers there is the possibility to make some revenue from incoming calls.  This is useful for call centre / support environments as this revenue can help to offset some your running costs.
